Change of company name from ISIS to EASIS
The past few years our company name, ISIS, has become a challenge due to the political unfortunate connotations it is likely to trigger. Our name is put into a context with which we do not want to be associated. Therefore, we are happy to inform you that we have now changed our name.
The new name we have chosen is EASIS
EASIS makes it EASY to live a healthier life with less sugar. The new name paves a far better way to promote our concept and products abroad. The former name, ISIS, dates back to our first product, ice-cream (in Danish: ‘Is’), which was produced for the first time 23 years ago. ‘Is’ was our pilot product but since then there has been a massive growth in the assortment of products (at present 65 items). We wanted this variety and the aspect of convenience to be reflected in our new name. But at the same time it was very important to keep recognition to our former logo. We have built up a brand during the past 23 years, and today we have very loyal consumers relating to this brand, using it as a guideline in the supermarkets. The new graphic expression is therefore very similar to the old logo.
EASIS abroad. What’s in it for you?
The name of our company may regrettably have been an obstacle for some of our potential business partners abroad. It no longer has to be so. We have doubled our turnover in Denmark from 2010 till now. And we have great expectations for 2016 as well. We wish to expand this success to new markets and continue the growth. Hopefully, our new name will make this journey easier.
Obesity, diabetes, heart disease – and sugar
A high intake of sugar is a major problem not only in Denmark. It is a worldwide problem which causes overweight, obesity, diabetes etc. Our mission is to help preventing this development. In a teamwork with you we believe we can make a difference!
